Directors
The practice was formed in February, 1980 by Vic Canata and John Seggie. They both studied at Glasgow University's Mackintosh School of Architecture where they attained Diplomas in Architecture.
Douglas Nicholson joined the practice as a year-out student in 1986 and continued to work on this basis until he became a full-time employee after completing his academic studies at Glasgow University's Mackintosh School of Architecture in 1990 where he attained a Master of Architecture Degree. After brief spells as a design director of a specialist shop-fitting company he returned to the practice in 1999 and became a director in 2005.
Marco Rebecchi joined the practice as a day release student in 1995. He attained an HNC in Architectural Technology at the Glasgow College of Building & Printing in 1999 and became a director of the practice in 2007.
Vic, John and Douglas are registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and are members of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Royal Institute of Architects in Scotland (RIAS). In addition to this, John is also a member of the Association of Project Safety (RMaPS).
Marco is a member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (ACIAT).
The directors are committed to upholding the standard of professional conduct, self discipline and continuing professional development promoted by their professional bodies and are dedicated to the continuing steady growth and development of the practice. They apply their extensive experience, skills and creative talents enthusiastically to every project they undertake and take great pride in the efficient and personal service they provide to each client.
The directors derive enormous satisfaction in the fact that they remain friends with many of their clients after the completion of their projects.
